finished watching Obsession 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑
Like a bad grown up version of Are You Afraid of the Dark?. The whole thing could have told a really good story about infatuation and what comes from it. Instead they choose to use a magic mcguffin to do all of this "2deep5me" performative obsession shit that does not even make sense in the context of its own world and its rules. I think part of what upsets me so much is how many good things about this movie but turns out to be normie bait trash. The main character is about as smart as a plank of wood, and makes the worst choice at every turn even for a "horror" movie character. Every character in this movie is not a human but just a walking pile of bad decisions. Generic yandere trash have better story telling than this movie.
